Illusions
A young man comes over to his girlfriend’s place. She has invited him round to break up with him and the relationship dissolves in a blunt, frigid fashion.
Since I am not completely satisfied with the result of this film, it should be viewed as an indicator of better works to come. It represents the first instance of my artistic preoccupations and fledging style being realised on film. My earlier works are mere practice films. I hope to make Illusions again, perhaps in a longer form, as I have much material I excluded.

Dylan, a typical school boy, is disillusioned with his life and the people around him. He tries to work up the nerve to escape.

Caravan
A man who lives in a decaying caravan leads an aimless existence.
One day on our regular walk, my brother and I came across the caravan which features in the film. It had suddenly appeared and we found it fascinating. Inspired by what had landed in our laps, we devised and made this film in a day. Much of it was improvised.
